Our Trip to Europe

After all the commotion with the volcanic ash clouds covering the skies across Europe, we weren't sure if we were going to make our trip after all. A few days before the day we were to leave, the skies opened up and all the airports were back in business!

After a flight of 9 hours, we made it to the Heathrow Airport in London. At the airport, we had a car waiting on us to take us to our hotel in London. We stayed at the Trafalgar Hotel. The hotel was a in a great location...close to museums, restaurants and the underground train station.

Some highlights during our London stay included seeing the musical Wicked, a ride on the London Eye, dinner at Joel Robuchon, the London Tower, British Museum (home of the Rosetta Stone), St. Paul's Cathedral and then riding the Eurostar from London to Paris.
