Emma's Dr. Appointment

I just wanted to give everyone an update on Emma's heart condition and latest doctor appointment. We have been told all along that she will probably outgrow her heart condition (which is Supraventricular Tachycardia or SVT for short) once she is about a year old. At our latest dr. appointment, we stopped by the hospital for an EKG and then took the results to the cardiologist. Emma now weighs a little over 17 pounds and is 28 inches long. The cardiologist is going to continue Emma on her medication for 6 more months anticipating that she will continue to gain weight. Emma's medication dosage will remain the same. By gaining weight, she will eventually wean herself off of the medication. We will go back for another EKG and cardiologist appointment in January.
