This past weekend I went on my 8th annual girls summer trip. This year, we picked Austin, Texas. We stayed at Lakeway Resort & Spa on Lake Travis. We had lots of fun just hanging out and enjoying each others company. Little did we know that it happened to be the R.O.T. (Republic of Texas) Bike Rally. There were 40,000 bikers in the Austin area this weekend. Also at our resort was the taping of Jack Ingram's newest country song, Barefoot and Crazy. The video was filmed out by the pool at our resort so we were able to go out there and watch for a while. Hearing the same song over and over again got pretty old so we weren't there long! Before going to the concert, we had a nice dinner with a spectacular view of Lake Travis at The Oasis. We spent all day at the pool on Saturday which ended with lots of sunburns. :( We had a quiet Saturday evening but enjoyed a yummy dinner at Iron Cactus before retiring back at our resort. The planning of our 9th & 10th annual summer trips are already in the works! Love you girls!
