What I did and didn't get to do....

I know it is already Wednesday but I am just now getting a chance to update my blog about my weekend. This weekend, I did get to go to a baby shower for my friend Marla. Marla's previous baby shower had to be canceled because she was placed on bed rest toward the end of her pregnancy. She has since given birth to a beautiful and healthy girl, Avery. It was so good seeing Marla, Avery and all of my friends from Smith Elementary. It was like a Smith Elementary reunion!

On Saturday, I started to feel like I was trying to come down with something and sure enough it hit me hard on Sunday. I felt horrible! So I was very sad that I was not able to go to dinner with some high school friends. We had been planning this get together/dinner forever and now I had to miss it!
